April Message

In two months the school year will come to an end. If you are like me I have avoided the thought of what that means to us as a school community. Grandview has been a landmark in the Provo community for almost sixty years. No matter where I am if I indicate that I work at Grandview there is someone that hears that indicates they attended Grandview or know someone that did. The school has a long and proud tradition of quality education. We will be scheduling several events to celebrate our memories together. May 8th will be an open house for the community. History books will be on display, with performances and displays etc. There will be a school carnival like never seen before on the 27th of May for families and students to celebrate a great year and a great history together. Change is always hard. I hope we can move forward together with optimism. 

May Message

I hate goodbyes! I have been so fortunate to work as the principal at Grandview. This is a hard message to write because I can’t find words that express how wonderful all of the People (young and old) that I have met while being part of this school community. An Irish proverb says “Be happy with what you have and you will have plenty to be happy about.”

The closing of our school is a big change. The best thing we can do is be happy we were part of Grandview and have the memories we do. I consider myself lucky to have been here. Best wishes, Mr. Daniels
